Slainte

304 Bowery (between Bleecker & Houston), N.Y.C.

The Short ‘n’ Curly’s

Similar set up to Nevada’s as in plenty of large screen TV’s and one big screen in the main bar. The staff are Irish, Scottish, American and S. Americans and again are accommodating if there’s a live game on and you want to watch it. Like Nevada’s they have several TV signal feeds and show Sentana, Sky, Fox Soccer Channel, all the ESPN channels. Beer selection is great food is good to Irish breakfast for $12. Atmosphere is lacking a bit, I think it may take some time for the footie crowd to find out what a great bar this is. For some international games there is a Pay Per View charge at the door charged and collected by Setanta.

A place where you could bring your mum if you wanted – that’s if you wanted to of course!

To get there:

By Subway : 6 to Bleeker Street OR 4,5,6 to Spring OR F to Delancey St.
