We were fortunate to witness the Barnsley game live at Legends, our singing and celebrating drowned out by the vociferous Newcastle fans watching their heroes on the adjacent TV - great supporters i must add. 3 live games in 3 weeks, 3 wins in 3 massive games, had to be a record for us. Now we'll have to wait and see what Del Boy plans on doing for next season, hopefully we can keep Amougou and perhaps Woods, plus a couple of our better players, I'll leave you to come up with who you think should stay and go ! And staying up looks a lot better now after our Easter heroics, must have brought a smile back to all City fans, but lets not fool ourselves by thinking we're staying up, there's lots more to be done before we can relax and enjoy the summer, starting with Brum, which I think is by far our biggest hurdle, we never do well against them, and with them as desperate for the points as we are, I think we'll do well to get a point but I'm not very optimistic. Which brings us onto West ham, I can see us beating them at the gate, we'll definately be wound up for that one, 2-1 City. We should beat Barnsley at home, which could drag Barnsley right down into the relegation quogmire (don't know about the spelling !), and that would be the six points I thinlk we'll need to stay up. If not, we'll still have Burnley away who have nothing to play for, but it won't be easy. I'll take a draw, but if we do need a win, I'm sure there will be thousands of Cidereds to cheer the boys through. A lose to Brum and West Ham and we're back to squeeky bum times ! It's a shame Florist and Cov both seemed to have hit a bit of form while we can't seem to buy a win. Lose these and I think we're down ! Win them and we'll have a couple more "most important " games before the end of the season. I said we needed 7 points from these two games plus the Derby game, we got one from Derby, so that means we've got to WIN these two ! And with all the teams around us getting good results, it's looking very gloomy indeed. Now with all our defenders dropping like flies, we need a couple of good loan signings who are willing to fight for the cause to perhaps save our season - unlikely to say the least. So with games running out it seems we've got to rely on the teams below us dropping more points than us. Sad, but I'm losing my belief fast. Del boy doesn't seem to be able to fire the team up, and playing in form Boro away on Sat, we could have what confidence we've got, if any, knocked right out of us, and who knows where the next points will come from !
