Si, just like to give my thanks for your "marathon",humourous, detailed City reports. Great job, look forward to your player ratings to end what has been a very long season. We were fortunate to witness the Barnsley game live at Legends, our singing and celebrating drowned out by the vociferous Newcastle fans watching their heroes on the adjacent TV - great supporters i must add. 3 live games in 3 weeks, 3 wins in 3 massive games, had to be a record for us. Now we'll have to wait and see what Del Boy plans on doing for next season, hopefully we can keep Amougou and perhaps Woods, plus a couple of our better players, I'll leave you to come up with who you think should stay and go !

All the best for now, a very happy,

Some scary thoughts there Si. you're right, we've financually got to stay up for the sake of the club. And staying up looks a lot better now after our Easter heroics, must have brought a smile back to all City fans, but lets not fool ourselves by thinking we're staying up, there's lots more to be done before we can relax and enjoy the summer, starting with Brum, which I think is by far our biggest hurdle, we never do well against them, and with them as desperate for the points as we are, I think we'll do well to get a point but I'm not very optimistic. Which brings us onto West ham, I can see us beating them at the gate, we'll definately be wound up for that one, 2-1 City. We should beat Barnsley at home, which could drag Barnsley right down into the relegation quogmire (don't know about the spelling !), and that would be the six points I thinlk we'll need to stay up. If not, we'll still have Burnley away who have nothing to play for, but it won't be easy. I'll take a draw, but if we do need a win, I'm sure there will be thousands of Cidereds to cheer the boys through. A lose to Brum and West Ham and we're back to squeeky bum times !
We were fortunate enough to see both Easter games live on this side of the pond, and we DID drink up our Cider all be it Magners, but it did go down well. We thought, Gerks and Amougou (Mr T)were magnificent at Forest. Cotrary to what you said Si, didn't Albert played very well V Cov, but a good all round performance second half got us what we deserved
Keep the reports coming Si, although, now I read them in two sittings !!!
All the best,

Two live games in 3 days makes it even more like the play offs, pity it's not a Bank holiday stateside ! Guess that means I've got to take a day off and get my squeaky bum to Legends for our most important games for a few years. It's a shame Florist and Cov both seemed to have hit a bit of form while we can't seem to buy a win. Lose these and I think we're down ! Win them and we'll have a couple more "most important " games before the end of the season. I said we needed 7 points from these two games plus the Derby game, we got one from Derby, so that means we've got to WIN these two ! I'll be "sort" of happy with four having expected us to beat Derby.
Keep the Red flag flying high all the way to the end ! COYR

Hey Steve I was listening to the radio coverage one of the new boys Hogan Ephraim got the goal so you can't get a better start than that. Even with 10 men it sounded like we had the better chances towards the end. I'm getting my prayer mat out for the boys really hope they can pull through. At least our destiny is still in our own hands mathematically speaking. The next three games are so vital Derby at home, Forest then Coventry at home.

Thanks again Si for another good report, I'm gonna have start reading them earlier in the evening, I lose an hours sleep by the time i've finished !
I said we needed four points from last weeks games, v Leicester and Baadiff, we got 3 but deserved 4. I said the same about this weeks 2 games with a bit more confidence considering it was Pompey away and Watford at home. As you know, we ended up with 4 total ! And with all the teams around us getting good results, it's looking very gloomy indeed. Now with all our defenders dropping like flies, we need a couple of good loan signings who are willing to fight for the cause to perhaps save our season - unlikely to say the least. So with games running out it seems we've got to rely on the teams below us dropping more points than us. Sad, but I'm losing my belief fast. Del boy doesn't seem to be able to fire the team up, and playing in form Boro away on Sat, we could have what confidence we've got, if any, knocked right out of us, and who knows where the next points will come from !

Sorry, but my optimism has turned to pessimism with not much hope. I hope the players don't feel the same !

I do hope we can at least have a good performance and result at Florist as it's another chance for us City fans this side of the pond to watch it live on TV. Heres hoping.

I'll be there Steve, look forward to catching up. Can't say, I'm looking forward to the game the way things are going right now ! Hopefully we get a nice turn out from the NY Cidereds, have a few beers/ciders, and cheer the boys on to an unlikely win.
I'll be there around 10 to catch the Prem games and lubricate the vocal chords.
FYI, City's game at Forest is also being televised.

Another good report Si, since then, City were soundly beaten 3-0 (again) at Peterboro. Pitman started. Del Boy started with a 4-5-1 until HT, reverted to 4-4-2 in the second half, where City apparently had the better of the play but let in two more goals ! More worrying, it was Boro's first win since Boxing Day, and the team directly above us in the league. Also, since you wrote, Pompey have been deducted 10 points, moving us up one. Unfortunately, the way things are going I can't see us ending the season above Pompey. I'm not very optimistic right now, I hope Del Boy starts sticking with a 4-4-2 - He's got to do something !!!
Blackpool just got hammered at home by West Ham (Maynard scored the second). Hopefully they can carry that form over to Saturday, although our record against Pool is pretty woeful. Lets hope we pull off a win and get rid of some of the gloom.
All the best,

Sorry for your loss Si.
Another great report, as you said, 3 points are 3 points, I'll take anything right now (it was actually a 6 pointer). Disappointed woods didn't impress, when I saw he had scored I thought, just what we needed ! I guess we've got to give him a chance !
Any predictions for the Reading game ? I definitely don't have a 'warm fuzzy" for this game, a point would be good.
Keep the faith.
