Norwich v City is being televised on March 14, so come on all you Cideredz in NY, save the date, get together, have a few beers and cheer the boys on. Venue to be determined closer to the date. COYR.
After being top on current form and looking like we’re moving in the right direction we suddenly come crashing back down to earth. Now we face two daunting games against Baaadiff and QPR ! Cardiff at the Gate is our best chance of getting something if the boys raise their game for the derby. The atmosphere will be great as it always is, versus the Welsh, which hopefully gives us the advantage we’ll need ! I’m predicting, 1-0 City. As for QPR, they’ve just got back to form, so if we don’t go there with confidence (after we beat Cardiff), then I can see it being a bit embarrassing. So heres to us beating Cardiff and getting a point at...

Well, nobody ever said it was easy supporting City ! And, in typical style, they are putting us through the wringer yet again !! The last four matches have brought us a fairly good return of 7 points from 12. All in all, considering we’ve had three tough away matches in these, you could go as far as to say it’s an excellent return. I joined around 400 hardy souls on the long trip up to Middlesbrough, and, considering they had just appointed a new manager in the form of ex playing hero Tony Mobray, we went to Boro thinking a draw would be a good result (remembering Keegans return to Newcastle against City a few years ago, we were praying that another...
Best win of the season so far, out of the bottom three, all us Cidereds have got to be happy. Now, if we can win at Leeds on Saturday………. Lets not get too carried away but it’s a distinct possibility. Honestly, I would have been happy with two draws this week, now we have a chance of getting six points from two of our toughest away games of the season. We’ll probably have our biggest away following of the year at Leeds, including our good friend Mark, which hopefully helps the boys raise their game even higher than what it should be. I for one am quietly confident, aren’t you !! Onward and upwards. COYR.

Good City turn out at Nevada’s for the City v QPR game yesterday, good to see a few new faces cheering on the boys. Paul and his girlfriend coming straight from the airport, but unfortunately too late to see Steads superb opening goal. That goal also silenced Fitzy and the QPR boys, and brought some cheering and singing from our contingent. Things were looking good and the pints were going down a treat ! Could this be our second home win, and QPR’s first loss of the season ! The game flowed from end to end, and just when we thought we were gonna win, the R’s got a late equalizer, sad, but they probably just deserved it...

At last, a home win, what a relief. Now bring on QPR ! Alright, I won’t get carried away but I’m really looking forward to our televised game on Friday, I hope we’re all gonna be out in force to see QPR lose their first game !!! I don’t care how we do it, but we still desperately need the three points. Steve, where are we watching it ? Don’t forget it’s Steve’s birthday – another good reason to be there !
Another terrible home performance which leaves us BOTTOM ! What next ? Obviously the team has lost all its confidence. The shouts are out for a new manager – Jewell and Curbs to name but two. Will steve L stick with Millen ? What’s the answer ? Me, personally think he’s got to go. What are your thoughts ? We now have a two week break before we play Baadiff – Don’t even want to think about losing to them ! Very depressing at the moment.
After a good point at Burnley, which seemed lucky according to reports, we were apparently unlucky at Pompey when we lost in midweek, their goalie being MVP, which leaves us in the dubious position of, 2nd from bottom !!! This means this weeks home game v Norwich is a “must win” game, our first home win of the season ! Hard to believe after all the signings we’ve made. I for one thought we’d be in the top six by now, not Norwich, who are proudly sitting in third place, which means, it’s not going to be an easy game by any means. Lets keep the faith and hope the Robins “do” the Canaries and start our flight back...
After another wasted home match, City will be desperate to bounce back on Saturday against Coventry City, and secure 3 much needed points. Tuesday nights fixture was another mixed night for City, mostly bad I’m afraid ! Questions are being asked about Keith Millens selection skills already after another puzzling night at the gate. Why are we being told that Louis Carey is fit & ready, then seeing our skipper warming the bench yet again ?? Why have we been crying out for a quality left sided player, then finally get one, then park his ass on the bench ?? Why is Nicky Hunt still playing, after not actually having one decent game for us thus far, when we have Christian Ribeiro fit & raring...
After our win at Scunny I was really confident we would pick up 6 points against Watford and Coventry and move on up the table, but we end up falling at the first hurdle and lose at home again ! Now I’m not that confident we’re gonna beat Coventry on Saturday. Lets hope City do the usual and win big when you don’t expect them to ! I’m trying to keep the faith !!! You Redzzzz !
